Rumex sanguineus is a perennial dock whose conspicuously veined foliage is the main ornamental feature.
Flowers and foliage
It favours consistently moist soil with drainage and also occurs naturally in damp places. Removing flowering stems can favour leafy growth and limit self-seeding, linking foliage management to the plant’s tendency to spread by seed.
