Silene armeria, also treated as Atocion armeria, has smooth, bluish-green foliage and sticky stem sections below the nodes.

Flowers and foliage

Pink-purple flowers gather in terminal clusters above the leaves. The combination of clustered flowers and adhesive stems distinguishes this catchfly from the separate dioica and vulgaris seed references.

Atocion and the familiar Silene name

Rubra Electra is documented with dark carmine-pink flowers. The assortment also includes Rubra, Deep Rose, retained as its own colour-labelled seed reference.
