Achillea ptarmica is a rhizomatous perennial with narrow, toothed leaves and branching clusters of white flower heads.
Botanical names and group identity
Horticultural doubles contain many more ray florets than the wild form, giving the heads a fuller outline. That floral structure distinguishes double-flowered selections without changing the plant into a different species.
Double-flowered references
Double Diamond and The Pearl, Double White retain their flower-form labels in the wholesale seed list.
