Mina lobata is an older name for Ipomoea lobata, a twining climber in Convolvulaceae.

Botanical characteristics

The flowers change from red towards paler yellow or cream as they age, placing several colours along the same inflorescence. That sequence explains the flag-like display. A sheltered, sunny position and support suit its climbing habit.

Colour changes along the flower stems

Red White and Standard Strain are the separately labelled seed references in the bulk range.
