Dianthus superbus is a perennial with narrow leaves and scented flowers whose five petals are deeply fringed. Dianthus superbus has fragrant flowers.
Botanical characteristics
The finely divided petal edges give a much lighter outline than a full carnation flower. Garden selections and hybrid mixtures may vary, so the botanical species description is not a uniform specification for every seed lot.
Deeply fringed petals
Spooky mixed and large flowered hybrids mixed are named mixture references for seed resellers. Keep the hybrid or strain designation alongside the species name in a bulk selection.
