Agastache foeniculum is a herbaceous perennial in Lamiaceae with anise-scented foliage. Agastache foeniculum has aromatic foliage.
Botanical characteristics
Small flowers are arranged in dense whorls along upright spikes, followed by nutlets. Well-drained roots help it persist; wet soil can favour crown and root rot. Anise hyssop describes its aroma, not membership of the genera Hyssopus or Foeniculum.
Aromatic leaves and flower whorls
Anise Hyssop is the species seed reference for aromatic and flowering seed assortments.
