Lider ± 70% red stemmed – Rheum undulatum

Garden rhubarb is a long-lived perennial with large leaves and thick petioles. Its above-ground growth dies back in winter and returns in spring from the established crown. Seed-raised plants can vary, unlike divisions of one plant. Leaf-stalk colour can range from green to red. The catalogue average is 60 seeds per gram, a useful reference when comparing bulk quantities.
