Rhubarb Victoria – Rheum rhabarbarum

Garden rhubarb is a perennial with large leaf blades carried on thick petioles from a basal clump. The petiole supports the blade and is distinct from it. Victoria has greenish stalks flushed red, rather than uniformly red stalks. This colour description is more precise for the named entry than a generic red-rhubarb label.
