Winterhecke (white) – Allium fistulosum

The following description concerns Allium fistulosum generally. Allium fistulosum is a perennial onion with green foliage and rounded clusters of pale flowers. The name Welsh onion is a common trade name rather than a statement of origin. The catalogue contains differently named stem-colour references and Ishikura entries, which should be compared by their complete variety designation.
