Spilanthes oleracea is an older name associated with Acmella oleracea, a member of Asteraceae.
Flowers and foliage
Its compact yellow to orange flower heads contrast with the broad foliage. In warm humid conditions it can persist as a perennial, while cooler-climate assortments often treat it as a seasonal herb. Moisture and drainage both matter.
Named paracress seed choices
Champagne Leaf Yellow, Bull’s Eye and Paracress retain separate article names for seed retailers.
The Champagne leaf yellow selection is offered with yellow flowers.
