Lemon Basil – Ocimum americanum

Ocimum americanum is an accepted basil species in Lamiaceae. This catalogue group also contains a Blue Spice entry labelled americanum × basilicum, so the assortment should not be described as a set of pure-species cultivars. Species identity, hybrid notation and the common name lemon basil carry different information.
