Foxglove: rosettes and flower spikes
Digitalis purpurea usually forms a leaf rosette before sending up tall stems of hanging, tubular flowers. It is typically biennial or a short-lived perennial. Flower colour, markings and relative stature distinguish the named selections within this species.
Seed selection for resellers
A foxglove seed assortment can combine single colours with named mixtures. For resale, retain the full selection name so that flower colour, spotting and compact habit remain associated with the chosen article. Compare the separately listed alba seed reference.
