Allium fistulosum
Welsh onion is a clump-forming perennial in the amaryllis family. Its foliage can remain green for much of the year, and creamy-white flowers appear in summer. It grows in full sun in fertile soil that retains moisture without becoming waterlogged. It can be propagated from seed.
