Lettuce and salad seed references for seed retailers, including Lactuca sativa, named Lactuca mixtures and Valerianella locusta. These entries separate lettuces, mixes and corn salad within the same catalogue group.
Identifying the right seed reference
Lactuca mixtures is a catalogue label, not a single botanical species. Follow the mix's own listing for its recorded description. For a named lettuce or corn salad, preserve the variety designation rather than substituting the generic word salad in an enquiry.
Bulk quantities and trade enquiries
For resale enquiries, identify the SKU and the required weight. A price per kilogram is a different basis from a price for a stated number of seeds; use the product's recorded unit. Pack size, available quantity and final price are checked in the quotation.
