De Louviers – Cichorium endivia

Cichorium endivia includes curly endive and broad-leaved escarole. Both form leafy rosettes, but the divided, curled leaves of frisée differ from the broader, smoother leaves of escarole. These are forms of the same species. Belgian endive and radicchio belong instead to Cichorium intybus, despite overlapping common names. The catalogue average is 750 seeds per gram, a useful reference when comparing bulk quantities.
