Seed variety
Setaceus nanus – Asparagus
Asparagus setaceus is a perennial in Asparagaceae, not a true fern. Its fine green sprays consist mainly of leaf-like cladodes; the true leaves are reduced to small scales. This structure explains the feathery appearance. Bright indirect light, humidity and drained roots suit the species better than intense direct sun or waterlogged compost.
