Summer thyme – Thymus vulgaris

Summer Thyme is a named selection of Thymus vulgaris with an evergreen habit and very aromatic, small grey-green leaves. The documented plant height is 12 to 18 inches, with a width of 18 to 20 inches and a spacing of 6 to 8 inches in sun. Tiny lilac flowers accompany the foliage. The selection is described as spicier than most other thymes. For wholesale comparison, retain the full name Summer Thyme because general common-thyme characteristics alone do not distinguish this seed entry.
