Sage ORGANIC – Salvia officinalis

Salvia officinalis is an aromatic, semi-woody perennial shrub with simple leaves and upright flower spikes. This persistent framework distinguishes it from annual basil and from the large rosettes of clary sage. Sunny, well-drained conditions reflect its Mediterranean background; old woody stems do not readily replace shoots after severe cutting.
