Lemon catnip Lemony – Nepeta cataria

Nepeta cataria is an aromatic herbaceous perennial in the mint family. Opposite leaves and flowering spikes distinguish its leafy clumps. Good drainage is important, and hot, humid conditions can reduce performance. Its ability to self-seed explains why plants may appear beyond the original planting. Lemon catnip Lemony is the catalogue designation for this seed entry.
