Chamomile – Matricaria recutita

Matricaria recutita, also accepted as Matricaria chamomilla, is an aromatic annual in the Asteraceae. Its finely divided leaves accompany flower heads with white ray florets around a yellow, hollow, conical receptacle, a useful distinction from similar daisies. Chamomile and German chamomile are common names of the species.
