Sweet marjoram – Majorana hortensis

Majorana hortensis is a horticultural synonym of Origanum majorana, an aromatic member of the Lamiaceae. It is a tender perennial often treated as an annual, with small opposite grey-green leaves and compact clusters of white to pale pink flowers. Sweet marjoram is the common name rather than a named cultivar.
