| Details |
Lavandula officinalis is an older name placed under Lavandula angustifolia. This small aromatic shrub retains a woody framework and carries flower spikes above narrow leaves. Lavandula angustifolia has aromatic foliage.
Botanical characteristics
Free drainage matters: persistently wet roots are associated with root rot, rather than improved growth from additional moisture.
Woody framework and drainage
Lavender Munstead strain identifies the seed strain in the wholesale range, rather than a supplied vegetative clone.
