Dropshot – Tagetes filifolia

Tagetes filifolia is an annual species of Asteraceae native from Mexico through parts of Central and South America. It is a Tagetes, not a species of mint, despite its place in aromatic-seed assortments. The species name keeps this entry distinct from Tagetes minuta and bedding-marigold selections.
