Violet – Salvia nemorosa

The following description concerns Salvia nemorosa generally. Salvia nemorosa is a clump-forming perennial with dense, spike-like flower clusters. Removing spent flowering stems can encourage another flush from the basal growth. Garden selections may include ancestry from Salvia pratensis through Salvia × sylvestris.
