Candicans – Silver-leaved garden selections

The maritime cineraria name is associated with Jacobaea maritima, a silver-leaved perennial in Asteraceae. Woolly hairs and divided leaves create its foliage texture; pale yellow flower heads are a separate feature. The catalogue includes different silver-foliage labels, so a single leaf shape should not be assumed to describe every named entry.
