Rose – Bellis perennis

Bellis perennis is a low perennial whose flower heads rise above a basal leaf rosette. The familiar single form has white ray florets around a yellow disc, while garden selections include fuller heads in white, pink and red. Cool, moist conditions suit the species; flowering and plant quality can decline in summer heat.
