Mixed, rubbed seeds – Armeria pseudarmeria

Armeria pseudarmeria is a clump-forming subshrub with long, narrow leaves. Rounded, drumstick-like flower clusters rise above the foliage in summer. This separation between the leaf clump and elevated flower heads defines its form. It belongs to Plumbaginaceae, rather than the daisy family despite the compact flower-head outline.
