Blue Star – Aquilegia caerulea

This catalogue heading includes garden columbine strains as well as the name Aquilegia caerulea, spelled Aquilegia coerulea. The botanical species is perennial, with spreading sepals and spurred petals. Garden hybrid mixtures should not all be presented as the same wild-species form. The catalogue average is 800 seeds per gram, a useful reference when comparing bulk quantities.
