Firmament – Cynoglossum amabile

Cynoglossum amabile is commonly treated as a cool-season annual, although its life cycle varies with climate. Small blue flowers accompany hairy foliage, and suitable conditions allow ready self-seeding. Long, hot summers can shorten the flowering season. Despite its common name, it belongs to a different genus from Myosotis forget-me-nots.
