Suaveolens pure yellow – Amberboa, sweet sultan selections

Centaurea moschata is an older name for Amberboa moschata. Its fragrant flower heads have conspicuously expanded outer florets around the central flowers. Flora of North America distinguishes the pink or lilac marginal flowers described for wild forms from the wider colour range of garden forms. This is a garden-selection context, rather than one fixed wild-species colour.
