Flamingo – Celosia argentea

The catalogue entry Celosia spicata is treated as Celosia argentea, an annual in the Amaranthaceae. The trade use of Celosia spicata for the Flamingo line points to the spiked form of Celosia argentea; the name has other botanical homonyms, so no author citation is inferred.
