Forest Fire – Celosia argentea

Celosia argentea includes ornamental groups with very different inflorescences. Cristata forms have flattened, crested heads; Plumosa forms have branching, feather-like plumes. These are flower-structure distinctions, not just colour names. This tropical annual suits warmth, sun and well-drained soil.
