Purple Moon – Calandrinia umbellata

Calandrinia umbellata is treated botanically as a synonym of Calyptridium umbellatum, with Cistanthe umbellata also recorded in its synonymy. The accepted Montiaceae is a perennial or tuberous geophyte, so the catalogue’s annual section should not be used as a botanical life-cycle claim.
