Griffitti – Bupleurum rotundifolium

Bupleurum rotundifolium is an annual in Apiaceae with a distinctive leaf arrangement. The upper leaves appear pierced by the stem, explaining the old thoroughwax common name. Small flower clusters and surrounding foliage give it a different outline from large-petalled annuals. Botanical descriptions describes Griffithii as chartreuse, providing a specific selection entry.
