Aquilegia

Aquilegia is the columbine genus. Plants form rosettes of scalloped leaves and bear flowers that may be single or double, with short or long spurs. Colours and plant size vary between species and cultivars. Most prefer sun or partial shade and soil that retains moisture without becoming waterlogged; alpine and woodland species have different requirements.
